Overview
RoamFact is an informational website operated by its owner ("we"). You do not need an account to use it, and we do not ask for your name, payment details or other personal information to read our guides or use the converter.
Information we collect
Like most websites, our hosting provider and systems receive technical data when you visit: the pages you open, your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, language, and an approximate location (country) used to decide which partner offers can be shown to you. If you email us, we receive your email address and your message. We do not collect sensitive personal information.
Stored in your browser
To work properly, the site saves small items in your browser's local storage: your language and theme choice, your last converter selection, cached exchange rates and counters of which offers were clicked. These stay on your device and are not used to identify you. You can clear them in your browser settings.
Analytics, cookies and partners
If enabled, we use Google Analytics with IP anonymization to understand which pages are read. When you click an affiliate link (flights, insurance, eSIM, airport transfers, scooter rental, money transfer), you leave our site, and the partner and its tracking providers (for example Travelpayouts) may set cookies and collect data under their own privacy policies so that we can be credited for the referral. Ad networks, if we show any, may use cookies to select ads. You can block cookies in your browser, use an ad blocker or enable a Global Privacy Control signal; the site works without them.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure the site, measure which content is useful, show partner offers relevant to your location, understand affiliate performance and answer messages. We do not sell your personal information for money and we do not build individual profiles of visitors.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Virginia and other U.S. states), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its correction or deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
